Why I Love My Golden Retriever

If you are in search of a Golden Retriever and have recently been made aware that it is more expensive to adopt than to purchase, you may be confused. One possibility is that you just don’t know how to go about finding the right dog. Others are sure they can find a good dog at a reasonable price by adopting from the shelter. Yet, others realize that adopting from the shelter is not necessarily the best way to save money on a dog. How can you tell which is which?

The first thing to realize is that a shelter can sometimes be an excellent place to adopt a dog. Shelters have established relationships with local breeders, and they often have connections that allow them to purchase adult dogs at cost per head instead of the cost of a puppy. This makes sense when you think about it. Dogs at the shelter are often healthier and more stable than puppies given up by their owners, and they can stay at the shelter much longer before being placed for adoption into a household where they will, most likely, be forever lost.

The second thing to consider is that adopting from a shelter can have its advantages as well.

When you adopt a dog from a shelter, you are guaranteed to get that particular dog. Furthermore, many shelter pets have a history that you can learn about before purchasing a dog. This information can be very helpful when you are trying to select a dog. The best shelters have long lists of adopted pets, so if yours does not come upon any of these lists, you may want to consider taking your search elsewhere.

Adopting a dog from a shelter also has other benefits besides cost savings and a history of previous pets. You may also meet a new friend or two. Perhaps you would enjoy taking a hike with your dog on the weekends. If you love hiking, you may feel a great friendship with your dog as well. If you do not like hiking, you may still enjoy taking your dog hiking with you, especially if you live in a fairly secluded place where there are no wild animals to worry about.

When I love my golden retriever comes to mind, I think of it as my little puppy.

It may not be a biggie, but it feels and acts like one. Dogs need humans to play with, and that is why they are so good at mimicking their human companions. You can tell a lot just from looking at a dog’s eyes and behavior. A well-trained dog will recognize your face, will follow you around the house, and will even sit on your lap at the dinner table!

Another reason I love my golden retriever is that she is such a cute and loving dog. They are full of love, energy, and enthusiasm. They truly care about the people in their lives and want to please them. Even when other dogs are around, they still bark to alert people of things they need to do.

Golden Retrievers is a very active and energetic dog. They love to run and play.

They tend to be a bit on the heavy side, but they still have great energy and stamina. If you adopt a dog, you may need to take them out on a regular walking routine. This may sound like a bad thing to you, but it really will not hurt your dog or yourself if you do take them out for regular walks.

When you adopt an I love my golden retriever, you will have a loyal life companion. You can make I love my golden retriever into the best friend ever by never letting it out of your sight. Golden Retrievers is a breed that is very intelligent and hardy.
