Grrace Golden Retriever Rescue

GRRACE Golden Retriever For Sale

Though often considered one of America’s most popular breeds, the golden retriever is still in need of rescue every year. Fortunately, there are many people like Kerry Lay who dedicate their time to finding goldens forever homes. Kerry is a foster mom at Grace Golden Retriever Rescue, and she helps many abused and given-up goldens find a new home. She teaches the public about these lovely dogs, helps educate them about puppy mills, and fosters displaced dogs.

The GRRACE website states that they take surrendered animals and offer temporary care and temporary housing for dogs. The website also states that they accept surrendered dogs, but this is not always the case. If you are unable to adopt a golden, you can still visit the Adopt a Golden page to learn more about available dogs. If you can’t adopt a dog from the Grace website, you can always visit the website of the local Golden Retriever Rescue.

Considering adopting a golden retriever?

Consider adopting a puppy from a rescue organization. Not only will adopting a puppy benefit you and your new dog, but it will also help save lives. A professional trainer can help you train your new pet to become a better dog. And you’ll be helping a dog in need! Just make sure you adopt a golden retriever from a rescue organization and take good care of it.

Good guard dog

Besides being a friendly dog, the golden is also a great companion for families. Their large size doesn’t make them good guard dogs. They get along well with other dogs and children and form a strong bond with them quickly. However, they do have a mild protective instinct, because they are aware of their size and strength. You should always keep these factors in mind before adopting a golden.

While there are many reasons why a rescue might choose to adopt a dog, it’s worth remembering that a dog might have behavioral problems from its previous home, and it will need to be trained. Goldens are incredibly intelligent puppies, and they need predictable routines and a consistent schedule. And, unlike most dogs, goldens don’t do well with a lot of change. Dogs do better in a routine!

When we met Ariana Alston, she had another golden, Brucie. They shared a home with their boyfriend for six years, and they had ample space for a second dog. And they both had small children, so they flew to Indiana to adopt her. The rescuers were grateful that Ariana Alston chose Grace Golden Retriever Rescue to help her find a home for this majestic golden. A loving family adopted the puppy and had two Goldens.

This wonderful rescue organization provides dogs and puppies for sale.

Puppies are eight weeks old and are wormed and up to date on vaccinations. You can get a red or buff pup for $300 or more. They are also accompanied by their AKC paperwork and a dog crate. To adopt a puppy from Grace, you’ll need to set up a time to pick up your puppy.

Indiana Bulldog Rescue

We have a partner organization in Indiana called the Indiana Bulldog Rescue. This rescue is a nonprofit organization that holds an online auction and also hosts events at the 4th annual Nappanee Pet Expo. In addition to selling dogs, they have a list of Miniature Schnauzers for sale. Find your local rescue and contact the team to learn more about the dogs available for adoption. You’ll be glad you did.

A volunteer at Grace Golden Retriever Rescue, Michele, took on two dogs, Emerson and Lola. While she wasn’t in a position to adopt them, she fostered them. Lola was the star of the Christmas parade, and Emerson visited her when she was ill. Lola also visited her new home and helped her sister, Capri. Thankfully, Emerson is now a healthy dog.
