Golden Retriever Rescue North Florida

The Golden Retriever Rescue North Florida (GRRMF) is a nonprofit organization that has saved thousands of dogs in Florida since 1991. They help these dogs find forever homes. In addition to purebred dogs, they also take in mixed breeds, such as Goldendoodles. Each dog is listed with detailed information about its needs, history, and personality. The organization covers west-coast Florida from Gainesville to Sarasota, but it is not currently located in South Florida or the Panhandle.

GRRNF is made up of volunteers from various local communities who come together to provide quality care for dogs in need. Volunteers at this rescue work to give these animals the best chance at a life of love and happiness. They also provide veterinary care and quality adoptive homes. And the best part? You can volunteer your time as well! All of the Golden Retrievers are lovingly taken care of, thanks to the organization’s professional veterinarians and caring staff.

Volunteers and foster parents are needed to help the organization save these dogs.

Volunteering with the organization allows you to get a feel for owning a rescued dog. Owning a rescued dog is not the same as buying a puppy, as these dogs may have come from traumatized backgrounds and may have had abandonment issues. It is also a rewarding way to contribute to the community while helping an underprivileged dog.

If you’re looking for a Golden for adoption, look no further than GCGRR. This organization helps Goldens who have been abandoned or are no longer able to care for them. Many families turn to GCGRR for help after they have become ill, or for a new home for their beloved pet. You’ll find more information about the organization’s activities and the dogs they take in. You can also become a volunteer foster or adopt a Golden.
