German Shepherd Rescue St Louis

German Shepherd Rescue St. Louis takes in German Shepherds every day. The organization has a long history of rescuing dogs from shelters. The first dog it adopted was an 8-year-old German Shepherd, Caesar. Caesar had been abandoned by his owner, who claimed he was a stray. Despite the owner’s claim, Caesar had been chained outside, frozen and starved.

His body was so weak and undeveloped that he had no teeth, sunken eyes, and almost no fur. But in the early months, Dr. Brad Twigg stepped in to foster Caesar. He and other members of the clinic walked him every day, and he remained a patient.
