Dog lovers in the Orlando area can adopt a new family member through Dachshund Rescue Orlando. Jojo is a 6-8-year-old female Chihuahua mix who is currently available for adoption. She arrived at the rescue with a history of fleas, skin issues, and missing most of her hair. Although she took time to warm up to her foster family, Jojo has been a joy to have around.
This sweet and affectionate girl has been evaluated to see if she will be a good fit for your family. During the evaluation, she’ll let you know if she will do well around children and other pets. She also shows that she enjoys long naps and belly rubs. She will do best in a home with little activity. She doesn’t like young children, but she does get along with other dogs. Jojo can walk well on a leash or harness and is a very good walker. She also has great obedience and tends to be the leader on walks.
The evaluation of JoJo’s behavior with children is also helpful for the adoption process. She will politely paw at your legs to be picked up. If you want to spend time with her, she’ll enjoy a long nap and a belly rub. She is good with other dogs but doesn’t like to play with children. She’s not a barker, but she can be a bit nervous when meeting new people.

Why dachshund? because when i was young i had one and he was my best friend for 15 years! i have 3 good children who are very responsibly and would love to have a pet to love and take care about.
