Corgi Breeders Colorado

Average High Breeders of the World – AKC Colorado Dog Kennel

If you are in the market for a corgi puppy, then you have found the right place. My wife has owned a couple of miniature sighthounds that we adopted as family pets, the Shar-Pei, and the Beagle. We got them from a breeder in Colorado. Before going to get them we were pretty sure that we wanted a Beagle or a Shar-Pei. We found out that we would be getting a Corgi when we got the puppies.

So we went with the Corgi rescue. We chose the breeders in Colorado because they had two girls, an adorable set of girls that looked like they were about nine months old. The breeder was out of town but we did talk to her on the phone and the internet before making the trip. This was how we got fluffy corgi breeders Colorado – through the internet! the Colorado winters with just a few health issues. If you have the time, you should visit Pembroke Welsh corgi breeders in the winter. You might be able to see the pups in person.

When I visited the North slope borough of Pembroke, I noticed that there are many registered corgi puppies.

My first stop was the biggest breeder we could find. I had already researched AKC registration of the dog breeds I was looking for. I expected to see a large building with an office inside and an exam room.

The office is actually much different than what I expected. The exam room is not large like one would expect for a breeding shelter. There were only three or four exam tables for the puppies. There were also cages for the puppies and dogs. Most of the corgi dogs in the shelter did not pass the health examination.

My breeder told me that AKC has been in business for over thirty years. He said the AKC is doing a good job of selecting good American breeders. He knew several of the Pembroke Welsh corgi breeders in Colorado Springs that had good references from other customers. I was glad that the breeder had mentioned this before I visited.

Another breeder, with a dog and puppies called Buddy, told me that he got his Pembroke Welsh corgi puppy from a friend. He got the pup in good health. The AKC standards for color are six months old. His puppies were all good looking.

I found out that many Colorado Springs breeders do not have a lot of time to go out and travel.

Many of them adopt corgi dogs from a local animal shelter or animal rescue group. They take in animals temporarily. They do not own them long term. If you adopt corgi dogs from these breeders, you may be able to get them for just a few weeks. But then they will have to go to the final home.

AKC has a website where you can search for dogs from AKC accredited facilities in the United States and Canada. You can search for puppies and send your email address to get an e-mail when a puppy matching your criteria comes along. Most of the time they will send you pictures.
