There are several reasons to adopt a rescued German Shepherd. A dog with a loving, supportive family will give a new owner year of companionship. The breed is also very intelligent and loyal. Although not the most energetic dog in the world, they can be trained to learn basic commands and get along with other pets. For example, Blue German Shepherds require a lot of exercises and should have ample space to run outdoors.

If you live near the Coastal German Shepherd Rescue, you can adopt a dog.

You must provide transportation to pick up the dog and visit it. Applicants must also submit a letter of recommendation from a veterinarian, photos of their living room, their property, and their pets’ sleeping areas. In addition, they must provide proof of spay/neuter. You should bring your entire family to your appointment with you.
