It doesn’t matter if you live in Idaho or California as long as you own a Chinese Rottweiler, you are going to need insurance. Insurance is important for all of us and owning a dog can be very expensive. It can be hard enough raising a dog without adding on extra expenses. So why would anyone want to take out a policy that is specifically for a breed like the Chinese Rottweiler? There are some excellent reasons for doing so.

One reason is that Chinese rottweilers make very good watchdogs. The breed has a very good temperament and they are loyal and dependable. A lot of these dogs have been bred for years to be watchdogs and they have a lot of talent when it comes to this profession. You can depend on your dog to keep watch and to protect you from any danger.

Owning a Chinese Rottweiler also helps you build a strong bond with your dog.

This breed is an emotional dog and being around you all the time will create this bond. However, another reason to own one of these dogs is that they are incredibly loyal. If you allow one of these dogs to become too dominant it could result in problems. These dogs will take over your home if you let them.

Because of their strength and size, they tend to guard homes a lot more than other dogs. If you leave a gate open, especially around the nighttime hours, a Chinese Rottweiler can step onto your lawn and start sniffing everything. If you don’t want to have your lawn sprayed by your dog, you will need to lock your gate up at all times.

They can also be trained not to jump on people or leave their belongings lying around. If you have a fence, a Chinese Rottweiler can jump on and chew through it. Keep any valuables out of reach of this dog.

If you decide to raise a Chinese Rottweiler, you must have some great social skills because this breed tends to get easily irritated when it does not get what it wants.

You must be able to teach your Chinese Rottweiler well. It is a great dog for people who need a lot of training since it can do well in that environment. It does not do well in a home where there is not a lot of discipline in the home.

Because the Chinese breed is such a playful and friendly breed, they make great pets for many people. They love to help people out and protect the family.

When raised in a home with children, they can become a problem if they become bored. You can’t just walk into your child’s room and expect to keep the dog if they are going to be a problem. If they want to play with a toy or stick, you must be willing to tell them when they can have it.

The Chinese Rottweiler is also very susceptible to diseases and infections if you do not provide them with regular flea and tick treatments.

If they do not get this important part of their life handled right, then they will very quickly contract some very serious diseases.

These include diseases such as distemper, rabies, hepatitis, leptospirosis, mange, and the rare parainfluenza. It is great for you to know that these diseases only affect dogs and not people. This is because the incubation period for all of these diseases is at least two to nine months, making it very difficult to catch.

Owning a Chinese Rottweiler can be a great experience because they are a great pet to have. However, you do have to make sure that you are ready to handle the breed and have a good amount of discipline for the dog. They tend to do well with owners that are devoted to taking care of them. Also, because they are aggressive by nature, you will have to take steps to control your dog so that it does not end up hurting other people or themselves.
