Australian German Shepherd Mix Puppy

The Australian German Shepherd Mix puppy is quite different from the American German Shepherd. The Australian German Shepherd is closer to the Yorkshire Terrier than it is to the American German Shepherd. Unlike the American German Shepherd or the German Shepherd, the Australian German Shepherd mixes up its coat patterns as it ages, rather than going from one coloring to another. The Australian German Shepherd mixes up its colors from blonde to black to grey, depending on what is more common in that particular area.

An Australian German Shepherd Mix puppy can be said to be one of the most intelligent dogs in the world. They have very large brains and therefore are very difficult to train. An Australian German Shepherd mix has a lot of intelligence in their large eyes and head. The Australian German Shepherd mix can be used for many things and they have been used for police work, Search and Rescue, agility, detection and even for shooting. The Australian German Shepherd mix does require a great deal of training, but it can be done.

In Australia, a German Shepherd Mix is not to like the American German Shepherd or the Australian German Shepherd in that it has a long coat. The Australian German Shepherd is not as sensitive to the weather and does not need to be shaded as much. The Australian German Shepherd mix can become quite obnoxious in its puppy years when they get too much exposure to the sun. An Australian German Shepherd mix is not good for people with skin allergies as it will get rashes all over, but once the animal has had plenty of socialization with humans it will adjust easily.
