On the second day, Blythe and Trooper stuffed towels into duct tape and wrapped them around the plywood to hold it in place. Then they used black construction paper to cover the upper edges of the box stairs doxie stairs. Finally, they piled up an excess of boxes and stacked them one atop another until there was just enough length to touch the floor.

On the third day, Blythe and Trooper took turns walking the dogs… Troopers on their walks, Blythe at home.

The two worked patiently and quietly, Blythe kneeling in front of the doggies and gently lifting the boxes off the ground. Once all the boxes were in place, they spread them out so the dogs could see each one. Blythe took lots of careful aim as she placed the box in the proper spot.

Blythe and Trooper carefully assembled the ramp in the back yard. As it was assembled, they noticed the stars begin to appear. Troopers had to admit they were impressed. They were both very proud that they had managed to come up with a celebrity dachshund bed ramp for the dogs!

After assembling the ramp, Blythe and Trooper slowly made their way toward the back yard. They were amazed by the amount of traffic they encountered. A lot of people were admiring the “doggie motel,” as Blythe called it. They hoped they could get some inspiration…
