Husky Behavior Problems
Husky behavior problems can be very frustrating and difficult to deal with. You love this dog but it just doesn’t seem to know when it’s appropriate to bark or when it should be quiet. Growling can be considered a natural warn and from the husky s genetic family, it’s the most basic communication form. You have probably come home from work, tired and maybe even stressed out, only to hear you’re husky begin to bark nonstop for no apparent reason. The majority of puppies who suffer from these problems will grow up to be independent dogs with very strong dog personalities.

Be careful not to use too many harsh training techniques and don’t use force on your dog. You should only attempt to use force if you are prepared to be calm and consistent with your training methods. Most of the time it is not possible to be both dog and owner at the same time and by using training and positive reinforcement to train your husky dogs, you will have fewer problems with biting and chewing throughout their entire life.
The second most common husky behavior problems at this stage are biting and chewing. Huskies do bite, just like a human puppy does, but they also chew. Puppies will gnaw on almost anything in their path, including shoes, clothes, everything in sight.
The problem with husky puppies biting is not just the fact that they are hurting themselves but more importantly that they could potentially hurt someone if the biting and chewing go on for too long. The fact is that any husky puppies biting and chewing will usually grow out of this behavior, but you must work with your puppy to break the bad habits.

Separation anxiety affects a huge number of dogs and is one of the most common husky behavior problems. In separation anxiety, your husky dog will become fearful, nervous, and can even develop behaviors such as barking and lunging. Dogs who are afraid will often bark, chew, dig, and even run away from you. You need to work with your dog and teach him or her that when you leave the house he or she will be taken to where you will be.
There are many different ways to train your husky dogs to be obedient. You can buy a dog obedience book that will show you how to train your dog and teach him or her good habits. Or, you can find a program on the Internet that offers videos and pictures as well as information on how to train your dog.
Be sure that you spend time with your dog while training, so he or she learns to trust and obey you. You should never beat your dog or give him too much praise, but rather spend lots of quality time with him or her and enjoy every second with your dog.
