How Much Does A White German Shepherd Cost?
As with most German Shepherd dog breeds, the cost of German Shepherd puppies can vary widely. Depending on the place you go to look for your puppy you will notice that the cost can be up to hundreds of dollars higher or lower than one would expect. And this cost difference is not always due to quality.
Many factors contribute to the cost of a German Shepherd pup and finding out what they are can help you decide how much a German Shepherd is really worth.
So, how much does a White German Shepherd cost?
If you’re purchasing a purebred puppy from a reputable breeder then you can reasonably expect to pay between $600 and 1500. The average cost of a German Shepherd puppy in this category is $1000.
Most White German Shepherd puppies come from parents who were likely purebred White German Shepherd puppies. This means that your puppy probably has some White German Shepherd in the gene pool, making the odds of your puppy being a purebred White German Shepherd high. This doesn’t mean, however, that all White German Shepherd pups aren’t purebred.
Since there aren’t many White German Shepherd rescue organizations, the cost of the puppies you get can vary significantly.
The highest cost of White German Shepherd puppies is likely to be around six years old. Most White German Shepherd rescue organizations will only accept adults.
They figure that an adult German Shepherd is already housebroken and knows how to behave, hence if they can’t get their children adopted within the first three years, they are not going to bring them into the organization. So if your child is less than 3 years old, chances are you won’t be getting an adult German Shepherd.
How much does a White German Shepherd cost also depends on where you get your puppy from. Many people think that getting a White German Shepherd from a bad pedigree is the best way to go, but it can be very expensive.
If you look at any purebred dog breeder in Germany, chances are good that he or she will only sell a dog to someone willing to take care of him. That means the dogs are bred strictly for profit. They are not used for companionship or adoption and the breeder does not make money from their breeding.
So, when you look at how much White German Shepherd costs, keep in mind that the cost is not because of the dam or sire, it is because the dogs are not free-range and not purebred.
Many White German Shepherds have been crossbred to create designer dogs. Their offspring are very attractive to the general public, but they are not really German Shepherds. So when you buy a crossbred dog, you could wind up with a Chihuahua or a Maltese.
So, the question is, how much does a White German Shepherd cost if I adopt him from the local American Kennel Club? It depends on how old the dog is when you adopt him, and if he has already been spayed/neutered/tested. If all three of those things are not taken care of, then he may cost more.
The cost also depends on how long you plan to keep him before you decide to adopt him (about seven years old, unless of course, you plan to keep him forever). If he is seven years old, then you do not really have to worry about any health issues either.
White German Shepherd puppies cost less than any other purebred dog because they are a very healthy breed.
Their life expectancy is usually double that of the American Bulldog, which makes them more expensive because of their longevity. This also makes the White German Shepherd an ideal choice for pet breeders and responsible breeders, because they are very intelligent, sturdy dogs that respond well to training. They have an athletic build that is suited for being a police dog, therefore, are not good choices for pets.
I think this is a great question that deserves a lot of attention. In fact, I would like to see a study done on how much gsd pricing is affected by the age of the dog. White German Shepherd breeders should be asked the same questions as well; for example, if they are selling puppies as young as three months, then they violate most state and local laws (as well-breeders who do not ask these questions before they sell the puppies are obviously not concerned with how much gsd pricing is).
I believe responsible breeders have to be held accountable for the prices they charge, but at the same time, it does not mean that every puppy you buy from your pet store or the breeder will be perfect. As mentioned above, this is a breed that can handle both indoor and outdoor work, so you should be able to find a good German Shepherd dog for a great price; just make sure you’re purchasing from a legitimate source.
