El Paso Chihuahua Baseball Tickets

For fans of the El Paso Chihuahuas, baseball tickets are available for a variety of games, from the team’s home opener on Thursday, May 13, to the Chihuahuas’ games against the Oklahoma City Dodgers. The Chihuahuas’ season opens with a series against the Colorado Rockies’ affiliate, the Albuquerque Isotopes, on Tuesday, April 30. The team’s homestand will continue through the end of the season, and tickets will be available for individual games and playoffs once the dates and times have been set.

The Chihuahuas play at Southwest University Park, an expansive ballpark that was built in 2013 and named the Best New Ballpark by the magazine, Ballpark Digest. The new stadium was chosen as the site for the 2019 Triple-A All-Star Game and has the best view of any minor league game. However, you should remember to purchase your tickets in advance so that you don’t have to pay full price on the day of the game.

A Chihuahuas game will not disappoint.

The team plays some of the best minor-league teams in the country. Their division includes the Salt Lake Bees and Albuquerque Isotopes, and they will play the American Southern Division champion Round Rock Express and Sacramento River Cats. In addition to the games against these teams, the El Paso Chihuahuas also play some games against other PCL-division rivals.

The food at a Chihuahuas game is a big part of the experience. The cuisine is distinctly Mexican, with many items featuring a Mexican flair. A partnership with El Paso’s Clasico Kitchen restaurant creates clam guacamole, a popular dish, that contains clam juice, tomato juice, olives, beef jerky, and a secret blend of spices. The dish doesn’t contain alcohol but goes well with a cold beer.

Besides baseball, fans can also visit the city’s museums and attractions. The El Paso Locomotive FC plays soccer and shares Southwest University Park with the Chihuahuas. Ticketed fans can enjoy the City Hall Bar and Grill, which is located in the ballpark’s first-floor concessions area. The Big Dog House is also close to the ballpark and is connected via a pedestrian bridge to the Santa Fe Pavilion.
