Bull Mastiff Rescue NJ is a non-profit organization in New Jersey, where you can adopt a Bullmastiff for only $20! The organization is run by Andrea Kelly, a longtime enthusiast who has been involved with the breed since 1990. She currently serves as the Regional Coordinator for the American-Bullmastiff Association Rescue Service, which encompasses southern New York State, five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, and the eastern half of Pennsylvania. She has spearheaded fundraising efforts and has developed partnerships with municipal and private shelters to provide these dogs with the best possible homes.

The ABA is one of the few rescue groups approved by the NYC Mayor’s Alliance for Animals.

In this role, Kelly oversaw the care and placement of over 100 Bullmastiffs each year. Kelly is a bullmastiff enthusiast and has owned several history-making dogs. She competes in obedience, agility, and conformation. Some of her dogs also work as therapy dogs. And some of them have even branched out into waterwork.

The Bullmastiff is an affectionate, mild-mannered, and independent dog. It is a powerful guard dog, but it does not bark much. This makes it the perfect family pet. They also do not need a lot of exercises, and they are good with children. They can be up to 25 inches at the shoulder and weigh up to 130 pounds. The breed is a great choice for anyone who loves a large dog.

The AKC Government Relations Department leads advocacy and public education efforts for responsible dog ownership. It works to ensure that laws governing dogs are reasonable and enforceable. They also offer educational materials and policy resources to help people understand the breed and its many benefits. Its work with the government has been recognized by numerous award-winning publications. The AKC Government Relations Department is also active in the dog community. As an advocate for responsible dog ownership, the AKC promotes responsible dog ownership and breeding.
